Approve natural variation
Agree the species, grade, permissible features, colour range and reference set. A single clean sample does not represent every real-wood board.
06 / Real wood over rigid core For the trade
A real-wood veneer surface over an SPC platform. Explore the warmth and variation of wood with a precisely defined rigid-core construction, including our Thailand sourcing direction.

VSPC combines a genuine wood veneer with an SPC core. It differs from a wood-look printed film: the visible grain and natural variation come from the timber veneer itself.
The complete specification includes species, veneer thickness, grading, surface treatment, core, backing and connection. A real-wood face also changes care, moisture exposure and the way colour and natural features are approved.
Our VSPC sourcing programme includes production in Thailand. We agree the origin, veneer specification and supporting documents for the actual supplied range. A separate wood/polyethylene platform is a different construction and is specified independently.
Agree the species, grade, permissible features, colour range and reference set. A single clean sample does not represent every real-wood board.
Surface coating, texture and maintenance requirements belong with the veneer and core. Do not transfer conventional SPC waterproof claims to the wood-faced assembly.
A useful quotation starts with the construction and the intended market. These are the decisions we work through with your product team.

| Core | Actual SPC substrate, thickness, balance and connection. |
| Surface finish | Coating, texture, gloss and care instructions. |
| Backing | Material, thickness and compatibility with the assembly. |
| Origin and evidence | Agreed production origin, documentation and range-specific performance. |
Questions from product teams
No. VSPC uses a real wood veneer; ordinary decorative SPC commonly uses a printed decor. Natural variation and care requirements are different.
No. Refinishing depends on veneer thickness and the product system. Follow the range-specific guidance rather than assuming it behaves like a thick hardwood floor.
