Full-size approval
Keep full-length production samples in the approval process. A small display sample cannot show bow, connection feel or handling.
Format / Longer proportions For the trade
Longer boards change the scale of the collection and the demands on the product. Specify the format together with core stability, surface repeat, profiling and protective packing.

Long-plank SPC creates a different visual rhythm from a standard plank. The buying specification should define the actual length and width; long plank is a category description rather than a universal dimension.
As the format grows, board flatness, straightness, subfloor requirements and handling become particularly important. The connection must be reviewed in the full format, not only on a short sample cut.
Decor and surface development also change. A large board exposes grain repeat and embossing alignment more clearly. We coordinate the print, texture, bevel and packing around the selected proportion.

Carton length, edge protection, pallet support and container loading should be resolved before the purchase specification is frozen.
A useful quotation starts with the construction and the intended market. These are the decisions we work through with your product team.
Prepare your specification ↗| Decision | What to define |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | Actual board length and width, usable coverage and tolerances. |
| Stability | Flatness, straightness, thermal movement and the selected construction. |
| Surface repeat | Print repeat, grain direction and embossing registration on a full board. |
| Distribution | Carton dimensions, handling requirements, pallet layout and replacement stock. |
Questions from product teams
There is no single dimension implied by the term. Define the actual format in the quotation, drawings and packaging.
Feasibility depends on the material, production line, profile and packing. The full format must be validated as its own product.
