Product knowledge01 / Understand

Reconsider the surface. Specify the core.

Rigid PVC wall panels can be extruded with internal cavities and webs, reducing mass compared with a fully filled section. The cross-section determines how the board is supported and how edges and fixings must be treated.

Our direction pairs these constructions with newer decorative-film and matt-surface options. The aim is a more architectural appearance: controlled gloss, texture, decor scale and detail at the seams.

Hollow, honeycomb and corrugated are not interchangeable descriptions. We work from an actual section drawing and a finished sample so that the face, support structure and installation method are specified together.

01

A more deliberate face

Evaluate the actual film and coating under different lighting. Low gloss alone does not establish wear or scratch performance.

02

Architecture inside

Internal webs, face thickness and edge details affect the panel’s behaviour. A nominal overall thickness is not a full construction specification.

The buying decision02 / Specify

Specify the whole product.

A useful quotation starts with the construction and the intended market. These are the decisions we work through with your product team.

Questions from product teams

A clearer
specification.

Is rigid PVC the same as SPC?

No. SPC generally describes a mineral-filled polymer composite. A hollow PVC extrusion is identified by its actual formulation and cross-section.

Does a matt film make every panel suitable for a shower?

No. Wet-area use requires an approved complete panel, joint, sealing and substrate system. Surface appearance does not establish that performance.
