A dimensioned cross-section makes skin thickness and internal support visible. Agree the acceptable production tolerances.
Core / Extruded cavities and webs For the trade
The established rigid PVC panel construction, developed as a defined section rather than a generic commodity board. Pair the core with a considered face and finishing system.

A conventional hollow PVC panel uses internal cavities separated by structural webs. Face thickness, web arrangement and edge geometry all influence how the panel feels, handles and is installed.
A quotation based only on width and total thickness leaves important differences unresolved. Two sections with similar external dimensions can have different skin thicknesses, material content and support requirements.
We coordinate the extrusion with the chosen decorative film, gloss and seam detail. The result should be approved as a complete board, including corners, trims and the planned fixing method.

Confirm substrate spacing, adhesive or fixing method and local support around cut-outs and accessories.
A useful quotation starts with the construction and the intended market. These are the decisions we work through with your product team.
Prepare your specification ↗| Decision | What to define |
|---|---|
| Geometry | Overall dimensions, face thickness and cavity/web arrangement. |
| Mass | Measured mass per unit area and acceptable range. |
| Face | Film, texture, gloss and lamination quality. |
| Edges | Connection profile, corner pieces and exposed-edge treatment. |
Questions from product teams
Weight alone does not establish suitability. The section, material quality, installation support and intended use need to be assessed together.
Do not assume the decorative skin can carry them. The installation specification must resolve attachment to appropriate structural support.
