Core / ABA lightweight construction For the trade
Rigid outer skins with a lighter foamed centre. Our reinforced hybrid wall-panel direction balances a large decorative surface with a more manageable panel construction.

An ABA reinforced hybrid panel uses two more rigid outer layers around a lighter foamed centre. The layers are engineered together: the skins provide support around the core rather than leaving the foamed material to perform alone.
This construction is also described as ABA foamed SPC or Light SPC wall panel. It should not be confused with dense single-layer SPC or with a hollow PVC extrusion. Commercial names alone are insufficient to identify the material.
Our documented reference programme is a nominal 950 × 2400 × 6 mm panel with a stated density of 0.85 ± 0.10 g/cm³. Those figures belong to that construction; other thicknesses and surfaces need their own product documentation.

Matt-coated and PET-faced options have different surface specifications. Approve the actual decor, face and joint together.
A useful quotation starts with the construction and the intended market. These are the decisions we work through with your product team.

Questions from product teams
Not from that name alone. The supplied reference construction is an ABA layered panel. Any additional reinforcement must be explicitly confirmed in the technical specification.
No. Test scope depends on the substrate, thickness, surface and construction. Match the documentation to the supplied product.
