Product knowledge01 / Understand

A click is not one universal profile.

Click wall panels use an engineered edge connection to engage adjacent boards. The connection can control alignment and the installation sequence, but its behaviour depends on the actual profile and panel construction.

A wall connection should not be assumed to be identical to a flooring connection. Vertical handling, adhesive support, panel size and access at corners change how an assembly is installed.

We review the connection alongside core material, thickness, joint appearance and finishing accessories. Where a product is intended for wet areas, require evidence and instructions for the complete joint and perimeter system.

01

Review installation access

Check how panels engage near corners, ceilings, existing fixtures and the last board in a run.

02

Inspect an assembled sample

Assess face alignment, seam appearance, opening and engagement across the actual panel dimensions.

The buying decision02 / Specify

Specify the whole product.

Questions from product teams

A clearer
specification.

Does click mean no adhesive is needed?

No. Connection and attachment to the wall are different requirements. Follow the specified fixing or adhesive method.

Can a flooring click profile be used for walls?

That needs explicit product and system approval. A technology suitable for a floor should not automatically be treated as a wall-panel installation system.
